The Myth Of Christian America

Rev. angel Kyodo williams joins a stunning list of powerful spiritual leaders and truth-talkers — too many to name — to peer into “The Politics of Faith.”

She’ll re-join Rev. Dr. Kelly Brown Douglas in conversation to discuss The Myth Of Christian America at the annual Revolutionary Love Conference: The Politics of Faith at Middle Collegiate Church in New York City. Rev. angel and Rev. Canon Douglas, Dean of the Episcopal Divinity School at Union Theological Seminary, meet again to reprise their fierce examination of how Christianity in America has been construed in such a way to foment oppression and advance ideologies of supremacy and domination.

Led by Rev. Dr. Jacqui Lewis, the Revolutionary Love Conference is in its 13th year and features some of Rev. angel’s Auburn Seminary family and other favorite spiritual super-sheroes:

• Traci Blackmon
• Kelly Brown Douglas
• Ruby Sales
• Linda Sarsour
• Otis Moss III
• Michael-Ray Matthews
• Pastor Raphael Warnock
• Marianne Williamson
