“love and justice are not two. without inner change, there can be no outer change; without collective change, no change matters.”
Rev. angel Kyodo williams will lead a workshop on Living Radical Dharma at Seattle Shambhala Mountain Center.
From their website:
“In this full day workshop, participants are invited to explore Radical Dharma in their own experience and in the collective process of waking up through deep listening and authentically showing up together. Radical Dharma is a call to Buddhist communities to become aware of the ways in which we unknowingly perpetuate patterns of exclusion and racism. These teachings urge us to engage in a long-overdue dialogue about how the legacy of white supremacy plays out in our society at large and our communities in particular. This “new dharma” asks us to shift our view to radical honesty, creating a common ground in which we can be truly vulnerable. Radical Dharma was born from the desire to create spaces that center the voices of those historically marginalized in our Buddhist communities and society at large.”
